Grandma doesn’t know that the nice man who helps her at the airport is a famous NFL player

Aaron Jones has a lot of character if the character is what you do when no one is watching.

At some point or another, we could all use some help.

No matter how old or young a person is, they will need help at some point.

When Nancee Lingg, who is 82, landed at Appleton International Airport after a long flight, it was that time.

No one was around to help the old woman carry her heavy bags, and she was having a hard time.
So, a tall man was kind enough to offer to help her with her bags, which she gladly took.

But for the old woman, things didn’t get better after that.

A flight attendant told Nancee and the kind stranger that someone with a wheelchair would be waiting for her.

But when they got off the plane, they saw that there was no one there and that all the wheelchairs had been folded up.

This could have led Nancee to ask the staff for help, but a kind stranger jumped in to help.

Nancee said yes when he asked if he could push her.

Nancee didn’t know who was helping her until she and the person who was helping them met her granddaughter.

You can imagine that Nancee and her helper had a nice chat as they walked through the airport.

But until she saw her granddaughter, Nancee didn’t know how lucky she was.

Teresa Lingg Knuth, Nancee’s granddaughter, saw that the stranger’s bags had Green Bay Packers tags on them.

She asked him if he was on the team, and he told her that he was Aaron Jones, the running back.

Aaron spent a little time with the two women, posed for a few photos, and then went on his way.
But Aaron wasn’t the only one who noticed Teresa.

Aaron’s kindness wasn’t forgotten, as it turned out.

“Momica” on Twitter took a picture of the Packers player and put it on social media.

In a tweet, she said:

“Just watched Packers Aaron Jones push a random lady through the Appleton airport because there was no there to push her. GO PACK GO”

People on Twitter were full of praise for Aaron’s actions.

When Teresa replied to the tweet with photos she took with Aaron and her grandmother and said, “That’s my Grandma!”, the praise grew even stronger.

Then the coach heard…

When Packers coach Mike McCarthy heard about what happened, he said the following:

“I’ll just say about Aaron Jones and our players: I’m thankful that everybody else is getting to see what I get to see pretty much every day. I mean, this is a tremendous locker room. We’ve been very fortunate and blessed with the caliber of character that we have in our locker room.”

Kindness from Aaron shouldn’t be a surprise because…

When you look at Aaron’s Instagram page, you can see that he has a big heart.

Among the photos about the running back’s life, there are a few that show how much he cares about his fans.

Take this picture of Aaron with two young fans next to their favourite local cereal as an example.

This shows that you can help someone in need no matter how big or famous you are.
