The 15-year-old spends his leisure time caring for his neighbor’s elderly parents. ❤️
Children may grow up and live their own lives, but it is critical that they continue to provide their parents with the love and care they deserve. Especially when they get older.

They require our company the most during their golden years. That is also the perfect moment for grown-up children to express their thanks and repay us for what they have done for us.

It’s not easy because work and family obligations frequently prevent us from seeing our parents. The greatest way is to be in the same vicinity as someone we can trust. A family, neighbor, or acquaintance who is willing to check in on them on a regular basis.

Tiki Joyner Edwards met and trusted a young man. And he had nothing to do with her.

Romemylion Mitchell is his name. This adolescent made it his personal duty to call Trent and Cianne Joyner, Tiki’s parents, every day to ask if they needed anything. And he’s not even related by blood.

Tiki shared the tale of Romemylion’s kindness on Facebook in 2019. For all the right reasons, the post and the young man went viral.

“I just want to take a moment and recognize this sweet fella that lives across the street from my parents. He checks on them every day and has grown to love and care for them deeply,” Tiki wrote.

Romemylion, 15, rides with her father to the supermarket. Mitchell assists him in shopping for what he needs and then in bringing the items inside. He also cuts the yard, conducts chores, and does whatever else the old couple requires.

“Not many 15 yr olds would take the time to care and be there for elderly neighbors,” she continued.

Romemylion is also a very active child. He has schoolwork, a social life with other kids his age, and numerous other duties.

Despite this, he finds time to help his neighbors.

Trent and Cianne had no obligation to compensate him for his time or work. Mitchell is selfless, which is why this story is so unique. It’s a sweet young man who devotes part of his day to assisting an elderly couple.

He volunteers his efforts without expecting anything in return.

Romemylion has become a member of the family in various ways. The boy and the couple share a strong bond. Mitchell was present when Tiki’s mother was admitted to the hospital for a few months to observe how she was doing.

“When he saw Mom today he busted out crying and just held her tight.. what a blessing and just wanted to pass on something heartwarming instead of the sad news we see and hear every day,” Tiki wrote.

This adolescent will grow up to be a true gentleman. Romemylion can only bring us pleasant things. A selfless boy can only grow into an extraordinary guy. We simply cannot wait.
